| The
Atworth Village Magazine - Delivery arrangements |
Who is My Deliverer?
The magazine has a team of deliverers who put a magazine through every household door in the
village (parish). You should receive your magazine copy a few days before the end of the month preceding
the cover date. As we take great care to work within deadlines to make this possible, do feel free to ask
your deliverer about any delays which you may experience.
If you experience regular delays, please contact the editor, or your delivery person, listed below.
The magazine is put out to print either at the end of the copy date (12th of the month preceding the cover
date) or the next day. Occasionally, the copy date falls on a weekend, in which case the issue goes to
print on the following Monday.
In general the printer agrees to have the magazine ready for collection by the editor within five working
days. Sometimes this may be subject to delay by staff holidays or absence, but we do our best to enforce
the agreement.
The editor almost always collects the magazine on the day that it is ready, and usually checks it on the
same day. Our Distribution person will collect the copies that same evening, and sort the magazine for each deliverer, and pass them out as soon as
possible - usually on the weekend
following collection.
Each deliver then deals with her or his list as soon as she or he can. We expect each deliverer to
organise a stand-in when on holiday or otherwise unavailable, or to let the Editor know in good time if
that proves impossible.
After the magazines have been passed to all deliverers, the subscription copies are then labelled, stamped
and posted.
List of Deliverers and their Delivery Areas
The information below was last updated in the year and month shown. If you are concerned about
non-delivery, email
distribution@atworth.org.uk or the Editor at
magazine@atworth.org.uk.
Please note that each household is entitled to one copy only, free-of-charge. If you need
extra copies, these can be provided by taking out a hand delivery subscription if you wish to have the
additional copy delivered with your main copy, or a postal subscription if you wish it to be posted to a
friend or relative. Please email the editor to arrange this. Charges are on the Subscriptions pages.
